Popular Tanzania Safari Holiday Packages among the UK People

Whether you’re celebrating a honeymoon or ticking off a bucket list dream, our Tanzania safari tours are fully customizable for UK travellers. Here is a list of our favorite Tanzania Safaris:

A Typical Day on a Tanzania Safari

Your day on safari in Tanzania usually starts early—around 5:30 to 6:00 AM—so you can catch the best wildlife activity before the heat of the day. After a quick coffee or tea at the camp, you’ll head out for a morning game drive. This is when predators like lions, leopards, and hyenas are still active, and you’re likely to spot elephants, zebras, wildebeests, and giraffes as they start their day.

By 9:30 or 10:00 AM, you’ll return to camp for breakfast or brunch, followed by a few hours of rest. Most travelers use this time to relax, review photos, or take a swim if your lodge has a pool. Around 3:30 to 4:00 PM, you’ll head out for the afternoon game drive, which usually continues until just after sunset. This is another great time to see wildlife, especially herbivores grazing and predators preparing for nighttime hunting.

Evening returns you to camp for dinner, usually served between 7:00 and 8:00 PM. Afterward, many lodges offer a short campfire session or nightcap, and by 9:30 or 10:00 PM, most guests settle in for the night—ready to do it all over again the next day, possibly in a different part of the park or en route to the next destination.

Best Time to go for a Tanzania Safari

While July to October marks the peak of the Great Migration in the Serengeti and dry-season game viewing, Tanzania offers magical experiences all year round. From the baby wildlife season in January to peaceful green escapes in May, every month brings a new adventure. Plus, Zanzibar’s beaches are beautiful no matter when you visit.
