5 Days / 4 Nights Luxury Safari

Today our safari expedition will take us to the jewel of Kenya’s wildlife viewing area the world famous Masai Mara Game (Wildlife) Reserve. Masai mara game reserve is characterized with its vast acacia-dotted plains cut by ox-bow lakes, spectacular escarpments where the movie “Out of Africa” was acted.  Full of life with various types of animals and birds, Masai Mara crown’s the climax of every safari in Kenya Apart from the big five, the Masai Mara is most famous for the spectacular annual migration of over a million wildebeest, zebra, gazelle etc from the Serengeti in northern Tanzania crossing the Mara River into Kenya in search of fresh feeding grounds, which takes place in late July or August. During this crossing, hundreds of animals are swept away by the first moving Mara River and others are killed by the ferocious African Crocodiles. This crossing gives true meaning to the phrase “Survival of the fittest”. Arrive in time for lunch at the luxurious ENTIM MARA which overlooks the Mara River perfect for seeing and photographing animals. Their luxury en-suite guest rooms are raised on wooden decks overlooking the Mara River. Handsomely decorated using earthly tones, there’s a seamless flow from inside to outside and down to the river. Later have an evening game drive at the reserve and return to the camp for dinner and overnight.

Our full day in the reserve will be spent searching for the big cats and the spectacular view of the famous annual migration. During game viewing, remember to keep a sharp look out, you may witness a dramatic hunt; a solitary leopard retrieving its kill from the high branches of an acacia tree or a herd of elephants protecting their young from predators.

In the evening, enjoy a romantic sundowner as the sun sets to the west. Dinner and overnight at Entim mara camp.

After having your delightful breakfast, we depart from Masai mara game reserve and travel by road to Lake Nakuru National Park. Proceed with game viewing enroute to your lodge for lunch. Enjoy an afternoon game drive in the Ramsar bird site specifically founded for the protection of the black and white rhino. It is also home to over 450 species of birds including the lesser and greater flamingos, pelican, African fish eagle and many others. Expect to see all the members of the big 5, except the elephant. Dinner and overnight at The Cliff.

Today after an early breakfast, our safari will be destined to Hell’s gate national park. It is known for its spectacular towering cliff, scrubs club volcanoes, geothermal steam, stark rock towers and water-gouge gorges. Upon arrival at the park, you will get a chance to ride a bike inside the park with the view of wild animals grazing, also engage in rock climbing at the Fischer’s tower and have a chance to walk into the gorge bed and hot springs and experience the hot water from the spring. Later, return to the lodge for lunch and the rest of the evening at leisure. Dinner and overnight at The Great Rift Valley lodge & Golf resort.
