After breakfast, we set off for the world famous Masai mara national reserve. Travelling via the scenic Rift valley, we arrive in time for lunch at Mara Serena Safari Lodge where you will settle in and relax before the unbelievably full afternoon game drive.

We spend the next two days on morning and afternoon game drives in search of the Big five of Africa. The famous Masai mara game reserve is Kenya’s most popular and most visited game sanctuary. It was used as the location of the well-known film “Out of Africa” because of its spectacular and outstanding natural beauty. The Mara hosts high number of big cats, making it a good place to see cheetahs, as well as lions and leopards.

The reserve is also home to the most famous East African tribe, the Masai, whom you’ll get a chance to share their culture with them.

As the sunset starts to edge dip into the African horizon it will be the perfect opportunity for you to capture the beautiful Mara land scape as you get to enjoy your bush dinner.

After breakfast, head for Lake Naivasha where you will get to stop at the Rift Valley viewpoint for a scenic photo session and later head to Lake Naivasha. You will arrive in the afternoon in time for lunch and there after head out for a boat ride on Lake Naivasha, followed by a walking safari in the animal sanctuary, where you get a one-on-one encounter with animals like giraffes and zebras. The animals are so close you can almost touch them! Dinner and overnight at Lake Naivasha Sopa lodge.

After a breakfast drive across the home of the Masai community to Amboseli National Park. Arrive in the afternoon for lunch and check in at Ol tukai lodge. Later, enjoy an afternoon game drive in this park known as the elite of Kenya’s national parks and framed by majestic Mount Kilimanjaro in the background. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Morning and Afternoon game drives are included today. Amboseli affords you a terrific opportunity to get close to the mighty elephant. Stop for sundowner drinks prior to returning to your lodge for dinner.

Into Africa’s Eden

Descend into the crater for a full day game drive. Ngorongoro Crater is the largest unflooded caldera, more than 2000 feet deep with a floor covering over 102 square miles. Game viewing here is fantastic, as most of the animals stay in this area year-round. This is your best chance to see the rare black rhinoceros, lion, cape buffalo, hippo, elephants, and a variety of birds during this extraordinary experience. An exclusive bush box lunch will be served under a grove of Acacia trees. Return to Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge for dinner and overnight.

On the endless plains

Journey west to the Serengeti, stopping en route to visit Oldupai Gorge where in 1959 anthropologist Mary Leakey discovered the 1.8-million-year-old skull of Paranthropus boisei, which revolutionized the study of human evolution. Upon arrival at Serengeti Serena Lodge in time for lunch, embark on an afternoon game drive, discovering the varied landscapes and abundant wildlife of the Serengeti.

Continue your exploration during morning and afternoon game drives. Home to the annual Great Migration of wildebeest and zebra, generally between late November and July, the Serengeti attracts visitors from around the world and is great for year-round game viewing. Tonight, join a farewell bush dinner in the bush featuring a traditional Masai dance performance celebrating an ancient culture amid the majestic wildlife. The perfect ending to a spectacular safari adventure.
