TANZANIA CLASSIC: ITINERARY

Day 1: Arrive Arusha

Welcome to Tanzania!—Karibu Tanzania.
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) Our Safari Representative will welcome you and you will be chauffeured to The Arusha Coffee Lodge. Here you will enjoy a complimentary upgrade to one of our 12 Plantation Suites. Your stay at The Arusha Coffee Lodge is on an all-inclusive basis (includes all meals, drinks (premium drinks excluded), laundry service and transfers). Overnight at Arusha Coffee Lodge.

Day 2: Arusha – Tarangire National Park

After breakfast and a briefing on your Safari, enjoy a Coffee Tour on the plantation. After an Alfresco Lunch in the gardens of the lodge you will be chauffeured to Arusha Airport, gateway to the flying safari in Tanzania. Time to board the Executive Grand Caravan. Your Safari will now take to the Air for your 20-minute flight to Kuro Airstrip in Tarangire National Park. On arrival at the airstrip, the Tarangire Treetops team will meet you for a game drive in Tarangire National Park ending in Treetops’ Private Reserve. You will arrive at Tarangire Treetops in time for sundowners. Your stay here at Tarangire Treetops is for 2 nights in a Tree House, and is on an all-inclusive basis (includes all meals, drinks (premium drinks excluded), laundry service, transfers, game drives and scheduled activities). Overnight at Tarangire Treetops Lodge.

Day 3: Tarangire National Park

After breakfast at Treetops you will enjoy a full day of activities including game drives, a visit to an authentic Masai village, a game walk, sundowners in the bush and a night game drive. Lunch and dinner will be served at Treetops. Overnight at Tarangire Treetops Lodge.

Day 4: Tarangire National Park – Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast you will enjoy a morning game drive through Tarangire National Park. Stop at leisure for a picnic lunch on your way to Kuro Airstrip and connect to Manyara Airstrip. On arrival 20 minutes later, our team from The Manor at Ngorongoro will meet you and transfer you to The Manor where you will arrive in time for high-tea. Here, your 2-night stay will be in a cottage on an all-inclusive basis (includes all meals, drinks (premium drinks excluded), laundry service, transfers, game drives and scheduled activities). Overnight at The Manor at Ngorongoro.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, our vehicle will drive you down the crater for a full day of exploration of the Ngorongoro Crater. A picnic hamper lunch will be served on the crater floor. After lunch, you will explore more of the crater before heading back to the Manor for SPA, evening cocktails, dinner and overnight at The Manor at Ngorongoro.

Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater – Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, transfer to Lake Manyara and safari through the lake en-route to the airstrip. After lunch you will be driven to Manyara airstrip for your onward flight to the Serengeti, where you will stay at either Serengeti Pioneer Camp or Serengeti Migration Camp. The choice of Camp will be made in advance of your arrival to Tanzania with the decision based on which location will provide the optimum game-viewing opportunities. Both Camps provide exceptional accommodations and are located close to the migratory path of the Wildebeest Migration.
However, each Camp benefits from resident wildlife – all-year round. Enjoy full-day game drives, bush luncheons and dinners as well as evenings under the stars at the Camps. You will spend the next 2 nights in a luxurious safari tent, on all-inclusive basis (includes all meals, drinks (premium drinks excluded), laundry service, transfers, game drives and scheduled activities). & Overnight at either Serengeti Pioneer Camp or Serengeti Migration Camp.

Day 7: Serengeti National Park

After breakfast you will spend a full day exploring the vast Serengeti. Enjoy a lunch in the bush, after which the afternoon will be spent game viewing. You will return to your camp in time for sundowners and dinner. Overnight at either Serengeti Pioneer Camp or Serengeti Migration Camp.

Day 8: Serengeti National Park – Arusha

Watch a spectacular sunrise whilst staying at Pioneer Camp or stretch your legs on a game walk if you are staying at Migration Camp. Lunch will be served at the camp and thereafter a game drive en-route to the airstrip for your flight back to Arusha. On arrival you will be welcomed and met by our Safari representative and chauffeured to Arusha Coffee Lodge. Depending on your outbound flight details, enjoy the use of a dayroom and then you will be chauffeured to Kilimanjaro Airport. End of our services.

*Provisional Bookings

Provisional bookings will be held as indicated below. In the event that Nature’s Wonderland Safari receives a reservation request that requires the booking being held by the AGENT on a provisional basis, make a 30% deposit within 48 hours against the space held in order to secure it.

Bookings held provisionally will be released automatically on expiry. Please note that in times of high demand we reserves the right to shorten the provisional expiry period.

* Confirmation of Booking

A booking will only be confirmed upon receipt of deposit payment or an email from the client, travel agent or tour operator. Please ensure the booking contains the following information:

1. Property you wish to book (specify if family tent, house, cottage, etc.)
2. Date and time of arrival and departure
3. Mode of arrival and departure (if international indicate your flight name and number if available by the time of booking.
4. Number of pax., rooming list and configuration (# of doubles, twins, singles, etc)
5. Names of clients, their ages and especially of any children in the group.
6. Any special requirements
7. Nationality of Clients

Once a confirmed booking has been received, we will ‘CONFIRM’ and an email will be sent back. On receipt, please double check details.  Any further amendments or cancellations should follow the same procedure.”

*Payment & Deposit Policy

Bookings must be secured by a 30% deposit within 48 hours upon confirmation with the balance payable 30 days prior to arrival. Bookings not secured by the appropriate deposit may be released without prior notification.

*Release Periods & Cancellation Policies for Confirmed Bookings

-Between the booking date & 46 days prior to arrival——-20 % cancellation charges

-Between 45 & 21 days prior to arrival————————50 % cancellation charges

-Within 20 days to date of arrival—————————–100 % cancellation charges

*Group Bookings Payment & Cancellation Policies

-25% non-refundable deposit 14 days after confirmation

-60% payments due and 60% cancellation fees apply 120 days before travel

-100% payment due and 100% cancellation fees apply 60 days before travel

*Refunds

Whilst the company uses its best endeavors to ensure that all anticipated accommodation is available as planned, there shall be no claim whatsoever against the company for a refund either in whole or a part, if any accommodation or excursion is unavailable, or the passenger was unable to use this service.

*Variation

The contractual terms mentioned in this agreement are subject to change without notice; however, every effort will be made to maintain them. In the event of a change in rates offered by Third Part Suppliers and/or a change in Government Taxes or Levies affecting the rates or terms mentioned herein, we reserve the right to pass on any increases to the client or the Agent.

*Levies & Taxes

Rates are inclusive of current taxes, except for Tourism Development Levy, Zanzibar Infrastructure Levy and Park Fees.
