Day 1:Nairobi Serena Hotel

Arrival and Transfer to the Hotel B/B. The Nairobi Serena Hotel

Day 02: Sweetwaters

This morning we commence your safari to the exquisite Sweetwaters Tented Camp in the secluded heart of the Ol pejeta Ranch and Rhino sanctuary. Here Rhinos are given protection and well notably don’t forget to visit Chimpanzee sanctuary. Lunch will be served at the Camp. Sweetwaters is built in a private ranch and supports large number of game which include elephant, giraffe etc and its only here you have an excess of night games. Dinner and overnight at luxurious Sweetwaters Tented Camp (BLD).

Sweetwaters Tented Camp, Ol Pejeta Conservancy

A sheltered oasis, clustered around a waterhole and set in the pristine calm of a private wildlife conservancy, Sweetwaters Tented Camp is in a class of its own. Abounding with wildlife, unfettered by the more rigorous strictures of the Kenyan National Parks and designed to offer a charming blend of under canvas ambiance and uncompromising luxury, it has long been the preferred retreat of wilderness and safari lovers alike. One of only four private game reserves in Kenya, Ol Pejeta Conservancy excels in the provision of privileged seclusion and private game viewing. Thanks to its private status it also allows such unforgettable pleasures as the Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary (the only place in Kenya to see these highly endangered animals), visits to Morani, a tame black rhino, night game drives, guided bush walks and camel-trekking across game-teaming plains.

Day 3: Mt Kenya- Lake Nakuru

Depart Mt Kenya after breakfast and proceed south to lake Nakuru, which is often referred to as the pink lake for it’s great masses of pink flamingos. Arrive in time for lunch. Can also see water buck, leopards impala, Buffalo and is currently a rhino sanctuary. Afternoon game drive is taken. Dinner Overnight: Lake Nakuru ELementatita Serena Lodge

Day 4: Nakuru – Masai Mara

Leave Nakuru after breakfast and head for Masai Mara National Reserve which is famous for it’s great herds of wild game. All animals found in Kenya among the “big five” are found here. Arrive in time for lunch. Afternoon game drives. Dinner and Overnight: Mara Serena Lodge

The Mara Serena Safari Lodge

Secreted deep within the Masai Mara National Reserve, the Mara Serena Safari Lodge is the ultimate safari destination. Set high on a bush-cloaked hill, embraced by arcing vistas and washed by a sea of richly rolling grasslands, it stands centre-stage to one of Africa’s most dramatic wildlife arenas and has a ringside seat for the greatest wildlife show on Earth, the legendary migration of the wildebeest.

Drawing its inspiration from the traditional Masai cultural motif of a cluster of domed, mud-coloured huts encircled by a “Boma” of brushwood, the Mara Serena offers a rare blend of raw African splendor and sumptuous sophistication. Day 5: Maasai Mara

Full day with morning and afternoon game drive. Leisure at lodge or visit the Maasai villages- at a small fee paid separately. Meals and Overnight: Mara Serena Lodge

Day 6: Mara – Amboseli

Depart Mara after breakfast and proceed to Amboseli via Nairobi for lunch at Nairobi Restaurant . Arrive to the park at the foot of the snow capped Mt. Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak. Afternoon game drive is taken. Dinner and Overnight: Amboseli Serena Lodge

Framed against the glorious backdrop of Africa’s highest mountain, the magnificently beautiful Mount Kilimanjaro, surrounded by miles of rolling grasslands, patrolled by vast herds of elephant, shaded by the lush, feathered-green of an acacia grove and hugging the banks of a gently flowing river, this very traditional yet supremely luxurious lodge is the safari destination of a lifetime.

Amboseli National Park

Amboseli National Park provides the classic Hollywood image of Africa. Set in rolling savannah scenery it is dwarfed by the presence of the pink-tinged, snow-capped peak of Mount Kilimanjaro which, at 5,896 meters, is the highest free-standing mountain in the world and topped by one fifth of all the ice in Africa. Against this magnificent backdrop roam vast herds of elephant accompanied by a kaleidoscope of other fabulous beasts – lion, buffalo, cheetah, giraffe, baboon, gazelle hippo and wildebeest to name but a few. There are also over 400 species of birds, all manner of reptilian, flora and fauna and some of the most soul-searing views in Africa.

Day 7: Amboseli

Full day with two game drive. Meals and Overnight: Amboseli Serena Lodge

Day 8: Amboseli- Tsavo West

Today we leave in the morning heading out for Tsavo West National Park. We expect to arrive at Kilanguni Serena Lodge in time for Lunch. Dinner and Overnight: Kilanguni Serena Lodge. The first lodge ever to be built in a Kenyan National Park, Kilaguni Serena Safari Lodge is superbly situated in the lee of Mount Kilimanjaro, encircled by volcanic splendour, adjacent to a teeming water hole and daily visited by vast herds of elephant, buffalo and plains game. Inspirationally positioned so that not only all the rooms but also the open-air restaurant, timbered game-viewing decks and rock-built bar enjoy uninterrupted views of the legendary snows of Kilimanjaro, the lodge also stands central to miles of lion-stalked grasslands, elephant-studded plains and wildlife-teeming bush and is ideally placed for visits to all the park’s prime attractions. Faced in volcanic stone and utilizing the natural rocky outcrops of a valley known as ‘the place of the young rhino’, from which it takes its name, the lodge has been designed to blend chameleon-like into the savannah landscape. Day 9: Tsavo West- Mombasa

Early morning game drive, return to lodge for breakfast and depart for Mombasa with game viewing as you leave the park en-route to main round and even beyond. Arrive Mombasa in the late afternoon at 1500Hrs Have Lunch at Mombasa Restaurant then proceed to the hotel Mombasa Serena Beach Hotel (H/B)

Day 14. This morning After your early breakfast you will be transferred to the SGR train Terminal about 30 minutes before departure time to Nairobi by train departing at 0800Hrs or 1500hrs flight for those who would like to fly back to Nairobi instead of using the train. Transfer to the Hotel for a Day room awaiting Transfer to the Airport to board the flight Back Home.
