  • Thomson’s Falls is about 74 meters (243 feet) high and is in the Ewaso Narok River, which originates from the Aberdare Range.
  • Joseph Thomson was the 1st European to reach Nyahururu Waterfalls in the 1880s. He was named after his father, Thomson, a geologist from Scotland.
  • The Waterfall appeared in the TV movie (The Man in The Brown Suit), which was in theaters around 1988.
