Kenya is a land of endless potential for the wildlife enthusiast. From great migratory herds of the open savannah to an incredible abundance of birdlife, from the depths of a tropical rainforest to the depths of the Indian Ocean teeming with fish, Kenya is a world of natural wonders.

Kenya holds some remarkable birding sights that you have to see them to believe. You can find the world’s biggest bird, the Ostrich, but also spectacular flamingos that congregate in their millions at the various Lakes of the Great Rift Valley and camouflage them in pink, With eleven percent of the world’s species – some 1089 different varieties, Kenya’s birding is one of the best in the world. It is not unusual to record 300-600 different varieties on a short trip or to record more than 120 at a particular site on a single day! The variety of birds in Kenya is made possible by the favorable climate, diverse habitats and geographical features that make it a suitable migratory route for birds.

This tour has been organized to cover some of the best birding areas and aims to visit a range of habitats. Besides bird-watching, we will give attention to game-viewing in general. Most places do have fabulous possibilities.

The extension of the trip has been specially designed to observe games in big numbers in one of the most spectacular and most beautiful places in Africa, the Masai Mara.

All our accommodation is of the usual very high standard. This tour is relaxed and recommended if comfort and an easy pace is required. All guests have regular options, either join-in with group birding/game viewing or opt-out and enjoy your own company. You, the client, have choices unlike with so many other group tours!
