06: NYATI EXCLUSIVE.
6 Days/
5 Nights Mt. Kenya - Lake Nakuru - Masai Mara On arrival, met at the Airport (morning flight) and later drive to Nairobi for a brief stopover before drive north through coffee plantations to Mt. Kenya region where you set you campsite. The camping ground is situated next to Bantu Lodge, which enable you to have good facilities as such hot showers, cooking equipment, fresh water etc. On arrival our cook will prepare quick coffee while you relax at the lodge environment before you are served with continental lunch. Later you will depart with your to the interior of Mt. Kenya forests in search of Mau Mau caves. Mau Mau caves are the caves which where used as hideout by local freedom fighters who fought the Kenyan independence during colonial period. The forests boost of big wealth of birdlife thus offering a good chance to bird lovers. You will return to you camp site before the elephants start their search for food. Dinner and overnight at the campsite. Day 02: ABERDARES LAKE NAKURU After leisure breakfast bid farewell to Aberdares and drive head west wards to Nyahururu, still known to many as Thomson's Falls for its 237 foot cascade. After a brief stopover, travel in a southerly direction to your next Destination Lake Nakuru, which is usually dotted with pink flamingoes lining its shores. You will check-in at HOTEL GENEVEIVE for lunch a quality hotel for budgeters. Afternoon games drive among leopard, lion, rhino, giraffe and not mention million of flamingoes etc and you will return to your hotel for dinner & overnight at HOTEL GENEVEIVE (BLD). Day 03: LAKE NAKURU MASAI MARA Early breakfast at your lodge, depart flamingo fringed Lake Nakuru and proceed southwards and turn right at Maai Mahiu to ascend up over the top of the Mau Escarpment and proceed to Masai Mara. Masai Mara crowns the climax of every safari in Kenya for its breathtaking views, wildlife and birdlife wealth. It boarders serengeti to the north and supports a huge number of game e.g. large herds of elephant, rhino, giraffe, buffalo and their predators abound e.g. lion, leopard, crocodile etc and not to mention the spectacular annual migration of wildebeests, zebras, gazelles. Lunch to be served en-route at Narok Town. Your accommodation for the next two nights will be at one of the excellent permanent campsite with good facilities as such big permanent tents, dinning tent, hot shower, beds etc. On arrival at Masai Mara you will be served with Kenyan coffee at our permanent campsite before proceeding for a late afternoon game drive. Later you will return to the campsite where our experienced cook will serve you with continental dinner. Fire will be at the campsite for the rest of the evening, overnight at our permanent campsite (BLD). Day 04: MASAI MARA The day will
start with an early morning game drive before dawn and later return to
your camp for breakfast and relax for the rest of late morning and perhaps
take a dip at the swimming pool at one of the lodges situated next to
our campsite at your cost. Later late afternoon return to the wilderness
in search of games, all meals and overnight at our permanent campsite
(BLD). Soon after breakfast, with game drive en route drive back to Nairobi with lunch en-route arriving mid afternoon. Overnight at PARKSIDE HOTEL where you are booked on bed and breakfast basis. Day 06: NAIROBI After breakfast you will be transferred to the airport for scheduled International departure flight. Quotation
